Sterlite Copper organises ‘Colours’ drawing competition for school students


Thoothukudi: Sterlite Copper organised a drawing competition for students of Thoothukudi studying from 5th Standard to 12th Standard here on Sunday at The Vikasa School, Millerpuram, Thoothukudi.

More than 1500 students of 100 schools from the district participated in the event under three categories. Mr.P.Ramnath, Chief Executive Officer, Sterlite Copper distributed the prizes and certificates to the winners of the competition and addressed the gathering.

Mr.P.Ramnath, also listed out the various initiatives being carried out by the corporate for the benefit of students in Thoothukudi.

In addition to that, 10 consolation prizes worth Rs 1000 each were given to the students under each category. Special prizes were also given to students who displayed their drawing skills under the theme ‘Say No to Plastics’.
