Sterlite Copper supported “Mother Daughter Mela” initiated by Education Department in a Primary School at Chinchpada.
The Team of Instructors from DNH Education dept had interaction with Mother and Daughter of Class 6th and guided them to encourage & motivate Girl child for further education. They also educated them on various issues / problems faced by Girl child of that age group and hygiene habits.
We supported the initiative to reduce the drop outs of girls from education and also educated them the importance of hygiene. Our female employees also guided the mother’s about the importance of education in today’s changing scenario.
Around 28 students of Class 6th and their mothers were benefitted out of this program.
