STERLITE CONDUCTS FREE MEDICAL CAMP


TUTICORIN: Sterlite Industries (I) Ltd (SIIL) in association with ThirukkurippuThondarNainar Primary School organized a free medical camp at ThirukkurippuThondarNainarPrimary School, Tuticorin.

As part of Sterlite’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in the field of health, various medical camps are being conducted in different parts of the district regularly. One such medical camp was organized in the city.

More than 400 people benefitted from the camp and the participants were screened by a team of doctors under the supervision of Dr.Kailasam, Chief Medical Officer, Sterlite.

During the camp, urine test, diabetic test, blood pressure test and ECG were carried out on the participants and free medicines were distributed to those who suffered from various physical ailments.

Mr.M.Paramasivan, President, Mr.V.Arumugasami, Secretary, ThirukkurippuThondarNainarmanagement committee, Mr.K.Mohan, Associate General Manager – Electrical Departmentand Mrs.SuganthiChelladurai, Associate Manager – CSR, Sterlite and employees of Sterlite were present.
